Pazo de Señorans Rias Baixas, Galicia

Even though Pazo de Señorans have been making wine for a mere 28 years they are now considered one of the finest producers in Spain.

Working hard to create wines that reflect the land on which they are grown is the main philosophy of this winery who started producing wine in 1989. The family owned winery just produces Albariño which is grown on a pergola system just 10km from the sea in North/West Spain.

Vines are grown on the pergola systems to minimise humidity & rot amongst the vines

The family have been working with the same growers for many years and the success of the wines have been down to the great relationship and the quality of the fruit grown and handpicked by growers that they respect and trust.

The wine is un-oaked and is young, fresh and fruit driven with varietal notes of white fruit, flowers, freshly cut grass and citrus. For those who have enjoyed NZ Sauvignon Blanc this is well worth trying – but this Albariño has a slightly more harmonious, tender freshness that is more subtle and in our opinion more enjoyable.
Try with seafood, and works particularly well with sushi. Purchase this wine online
