Description
Pernand-Vergelesses is a small village nestled below the famous limestone Corton hill, known for the prestigious appellation of Corton-Charlemagne. Talented winemaker Eric Germain makes superb wines with minerality, focus and precision. There is no bâtonnage and extended maturation in barrel, giving the white wines greater tension, elegance, energy and purity.
A fine aroma with delicate floral notes, such as apples, pears and a wonderful citrus-blossom. On the palate there is elegance and minerality balanced by white fruit character and a lovely saline finish.
