Description
From a 12 hectare plot in the village of Bussieres, to the South of the Maconnais region with an average vine age of 40 years. This is a classic Chardonnayfrom Southern Burgundy, fine buttery and floral notes on the nose and a wine of substance on the palate. Some creamy, textural notes up front reveal descreet oak, and the finish has some underlying minerality and citrus.
Pair to chicken in a creamy sauce, shellfish chowder or at Christmas roast turkey!
