Description
From a single vineyard plot, these are terroir led wines. Located just 3.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, Trout Gulch lies just above the hamlet of Aptos in the southern Santa Cruz Mountains. Cooler temperatures here combined with sandy soils full of marine deposits translate to Chardonnay which spends longer time ripening on the vine, and concentrated wines with a distinct maritime character.
