Langham wine Estate is located near to the market town of Dorchester in Dorset. They make wines solely from the classical Champagne varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. They operate a low intervention approach and each bunch of grapes is hand picked and the wines are not fined and filtered.
The Blanc de Blancs has aromas of honeysuckle, lemon drizzle cake and apple crumble! It has a lovely citrus acidity and also richer notes that provide a well balanced and characterful finish. Complex and elegant example of how great Chardonnay can be in the UK.
