Description
Nicole Chanrion has been working at her domaine from as a child with her father. The 6.5ha domaine sits on the hillside of Mont Brouilly, a prehistoric volcano that left blue shist stones and volcanic rock on its slopes. Chanrion employs the traditional winemaking techniques of Beaujolais: hand-harvesting, whole cluster fermentation, then aging the wine in large wood foudres for 9 months and then bottling unfiltered. The resulting wines are packed with pure fruit flavours and floral notes.
Tasting Note
