Description
The Chenu family have been growing grapes and making wine for five generations. They prioritise the respect of the vineyard and its environment and the quality as well as the distinctiveness of their wines. Over the last few years, it has primarily been the daughters Juliette and Caroline who have teamed up to invigorate the domaine and maximize the quality of the wines, not least through the significant decision to convert the entire estate to organic wine production.
As far as the winemaking is concerned, grapes are fully destemmed, only native yeasts are used and new oak is employed only very sparingly. Lively red fruits, a lovely Chorey.
