Bricking at the rim, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape la Guigasse offers up scents of pressed flowers, campfire smoke and roasted cherries. It’s medium to full-bodied, almost sweet-tasting because of the interactions of ripe fruit and toasted wood, but silky, fine and elegant in the end.
