Description
The Andreas Syrah is produced in the Bovlei valley, a little over an hour from Cape Town. The winemaker Shaun Meyeridricks joined Andreas from Boekenhoutskloof in 2017, further improving an excellent estate.
After fermentation the wine is matured in medium french oak barrels (20% new oak )for 18 months, before one year in bottle before release.
Rich black fruit, big and luscious, with hints of pepper and spice.
