Description
Foradori our one of the foremost biodynamic Italian producers. Based in the foot hills of the Dolomites in the North East of the country they focus on the indigenous grape varieties of the region and natural wine production. This selection contains two white wines and and one red:
Morei Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT – The teroldego is sourced from a single 2.5 hectare vineyard. The grapes are aged and fermented in clay amphorae on skins for 8 months.
Fontanasanta Nosiola Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT – Nosiola is an ancient Trentino grape variety, once wide spread now rare. The grapes are fermented and kept on skins for 8 months in a mixture of amphora and acacia cask.
Fuoripista Pinot Grigio Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT – This wine is the result of a collaboration between Foradori and Marco Devigili, biodynamic winemaker from Campo Rotaliano, and aims to express the true essence of this variety. The wine spends more than 8 months on the skins inside Tinajas (amphorae) allowing the delicate character of Pinot Grigio to reveal.
