Excellent New Gins!

With Spring fast approaching we have been on the lookout for some fresh gins to enjoy. We have found some crackers!

Pollination Gin

This gin won Best UK Gin at the Great British Food Awards 2017. Produced at the Dyfi Distillery in the old slate mining village of Corris. The village is near Machynlleth just South of the Snowdonia national park. The botanicals are hand-foraged in the Dyfi valley, recognised by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve. They include wild flowers, aromatic leaves, fruits and conifer tips. Due to the limited and seasonal nature of these botanicals the gin can not be produced all year round!

Tasting Note

This gin has an amazing complex nose, with the top notes provided by the conifer tips. On the palate it has a wonderful fresh savoury herbal edge. The gin works marvelously with torn fresh mint and lemon peel. A must for any serious gin collector! Available from our website here.

                                                                   Pothecary Thai Blend Gin

Pothecary Thai Blend gin is the latest limited edition gin from Soapbox spirits. The Thai-inspired blend includes fresh coriander, lime, juniper, ginger, coconut, mango, roasted pineapple and turmeric. Wonderfully balanced and a great addition to the range.

Tasting Note

This gin brings tropical notes as well as lovely fragrant Thai botanical notes. Try in a dry martini or add lime and a premium tonic for a refreshing GnT. Available from our website here.
