Description
The Spottswoode ‘Lyndenhurst’ is an earlier drinking cuveé from the renowned family-owned producer. Made from 81 % Cabernet Sauvignon and dashes of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, the majority of the grapes are from their own vineyards with a small portion from other producers. After fermentation the wine is aged for 20 months in french oak, a third of which is new. This is a bold silky Napa Cabernet with layer of dark fruit that intermingle with hints of warm spice and sandelwood.
