Description
Chateau Langoa Barton has been in the Barton family since 1755. Hugh Barton was a noted negociant in Bordeaux before he purchased Langoa. The Chateau is now run by Anthony Barton and continues to over deliver for a third growth. The wine is made of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. This high level of Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine a solid backbone and tannic grip.
Tasting Note
The 2010 Ch. Langoa Barton has a vibrant rich nose of both red and black fruits. This fruit continues strongly on the palate, though wine retains a refined elegance. It has excellent structure with well balanced tannins and acidity with a persistent and long finish.
