Description
The Wanaka Road Pinot Noir is made by Duncan Forsyth. The winery is based in the heart of Central Otago, the Cromwell basin. They do farm organically, though they are not certified. The wine is fermented in open fermenters and hand plunged before 11 months French oak barrels (20% new).
Tasting Note
Dark berry notes counter on the nose. On the palate intricate red fruit are balanced with a savoury mid-palate.
