Description
Chateau La Gorce is planted with 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Historically this Chateau was planted with a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon, however this left the wine quite tannic and firm. The planting of additional Merlot, has balanced the wine and made it much more pleasurable.
Tasting Note
A lovely fresh fruit forward claret with moderate tannins and a touch of cedar on the finish.
