Ben Glover used to be the winemaker at Wither Hills, but he is now focussing on his own family winery Zephyr. Ben creates wines from his own vineyards in the Marlborough sub-region of Dillon’s point. The Glover family vineyards were planted in 1985 next to the meandering Opawa river. This wine is made from 4 different blocks off the farm at Dillon’s point. On the nose it has ginger, green apple and crisp lime. The palate is citrus focussed with quenching acidity and varietal elegance. Pair to roasted scallops, Thai food, prosciutto and soft goats cheese.
