Philippe Bornard is considered one of the foremost producers in the Jura. He farms 6 hectares of vineyards around the village of Pupillin. He produces wine with as little intervention as possible and produces a large amount of different cuveés as he does not blend together the same grapes from different parcels.
A light, delicate wine that gives off aromas of redcurrants, citrus and saddle leather with a touch of cinnamon. There is a purity and silkiness to this wine that makes it quite ethereal.
