The first of Miani’s cru Chardonnays, the Baracca sits among the elite Italian Chardonnays. Crafted from very old-vine fruit, the Baracca melds its intense aromatics with its glorious texture in an almost seamless expression of Chardonnay fruit. Laden with minerals, perfectly balanced and absolutely stunning, the Chardonnay Baracca layers its ripe orchard fruit over minerals, sweet spices and a touch of oak to create a sensual experience. Miani priority is the terroir when making this wine, and thus presses gently, ferments in barrels and allows no malolactic fermentation, all without temperature control and using only indigenous yeasts.
