The Bourdy Cotes du Jura Blanc is 100% Chardonnay from high altitude alpine vineyards with a variety of exposures.The vineyards are farmed biodynamically. After a fermentation using ambient yeasts, the wine is aged for 4 years in old barrels before bottling. This wine will age beautifully.
Lemon curd, steel and nuts with great density and concentration, all buoyed by tensile, nervous acidity. From fine herbs to rock and meadow flowers this is a vinous aria of alpine intensity. Best served between 15 and 16 degrees and opened a few hours before tasting.
