Description
This Viognier is grown on a single vineyard sight near False Bay, which enjoys a cool maritime climate and on shore breezes from the Atlantic. On the nose the wine has notes of apricot, spring blossom and a creamy citrus note – it is elegantly perfumed. These notes follow through on the palate that is dense, with ripe crushed fresh fruit along with a mineral steeliness. This is a superb wine to match to food such as richer fish dishes, scallops, roast poultry and spicy foods.
