This family Estate has been in production since 1864. Vineyards lie just south of Nantes and benefit from an exceptional microclimate with warmth from the Atlantic in Spring, while the Lac de Grandlieu acts like a giant storage heater throughout growing season giving extra ripeness and more fruit to the wines. 50 Year old vines grow in a 6 hectare vineyards on rocky, schist soil. Winemaker Jerome is committed to sustainability and has grassed over 100% of his vineyards to reduce the vigour of his vines.
This is a charming Muscadet, full bodied with expressive minerality, honey and grapefruit notes. The palate has lemon notes with a light fresh finish. A beautiful aperitif or match to delicate salmon dishes, Asian cuisine or fresh oysters!
