The fruit for the “Savagnin de Voile” cuvée is from vineyards located on grey marl with small limestone rocks. The wine is aged under a veil of yeast for 6 years, which both protects the wine from oxidation and imparts flavour. On the nose it offers notes of fresh hazelnuts and nut flavours with fresh citrus and mineral notes in the background. The palate is light, vibrant and displays a long finish with nutty aromas brimming through. It can be drunk with roast poultry with cream sauce or aged Comté cheese.
