Description
The Domaine Berthier L’Intuse (the intruder) Chardonnay is made from a rogue parcel planted by Jean-Marie Berthier in the mid-1990s. Planted on a band of Silex soils in the middle of the most famous Sauvignon Blanc appellation in the world; this chardonnay were previously used in sparkling wine until this vintage. Aged for 6 months on its lees, this wine gives a unique glimpse of chardonnay in the Sauvignon Blanc monoculture.
