Trailblazing winemakers René-Jean Dard & François Ribo have been making quality natural wines since back in the 1980s – often being maligned for pursuing this dogma by neighbouring estates.
Their wines are all about instant ‘drinkability’ rather than ones to cellar and age (not that you couldn’t if you so wished – they age beautifully!). The Croze Hermitage white is a classic blend of the native Marsanne and Roussane grapes grown on alluvial deposits, rolled stones and red clay.
