This unique twin pack contains two of last year’s most in demand releases by the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown.
The Springbank Local Barley was distilled from barley sourced from High Cattadale Farm on the Kintyre Peninsula. Distilled in July 2009 it was bottled in October 2019. Matured in 75% bourbon casks and 25% sherry casks and bottled at cask strength of 56.2%. This is the 5th release of this series, originally announced as a series of 5, this may well be the last release.
The Longrow 21 Year Old is a new addition to the range. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown smoky character. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks this has an inviting smokiness complete with a rich, warming finish. Bottled at 46%.
