The new Pothecary Gin Limited Edition has just been released, named ”Trinity” after it’s three botanicals, yes, just three, each individually distilled, as with all Pothecary Gins, and then blended! Martin has created a very stripped back gin, ‘classic’, for want of a better word, in terms of style, and without any sign of a gimmick! So no colour, no sweetening, no glitter, no bubblegum, no strawberries or raspberries, no angel or unicorn tears, and no rhubarb and custard or cherry bakewell in sight… just real, handcrafted GIN. It weighs in at a hefty 49% abv, and it has a stripped back, more utilitarian look too. And, it’s organic of course. A genuine gin for gin purists; the balance between the piney Juniper, the warming spice from the Coriander, and the beautiful fresh citrus from Bergamot is sublime, perfect in a ‘classic’ G&T with zest of lemon or orange, also as a Dry Martini with two giant Queen Green Olives as a garnish!
