The Vietti winery traces its roots back to the 19th century, but it was in the 20th Century that it became a winery and offered bottles of its own wines. The wines come from Castiglione Falletto vineyards, in the heart of the Barolo zone. The region has sandy/calcareous soil and this gives a unique elegant tannins.
This is 100% Moscato d’Asti from small vineyards located in Castiglione Tinella. This lightly sparkling wine has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals and ginger. On the palate, it is delicately sweet and sparkling with balanced acidity, good complexity and a finish of fresh apricots.
Try as an aperitif, Pan-Asian cuisine and lobster, as well as pastry, fruit based and creamy desserts and blue cheese.
