Description
The Tillingham PN 2018 is the second release of this cuveé by Ben Walgate’s Tillingham project. Previously the head winemaker at Gusborne, Ben is in the process of converting a farm on the edge of the Weald near Rye into a biodynamic winery. Whilst the vines are maturing Ben buys his fruit from throughout Southern England. This cuveé is a blend of Ortega, Müller Thurgau, Dornfelder, Rondo & Pinot Noir.
Tasting Note
Aromas of hedgerow fruits and rhubarb with cream soda and autolytic nose. Crisp acidity and a persistent mousse mean the wine is very refreshing, fruit forward and easy to drink. A great springtime bottle.
