Feudi di San Gregorio are champions of Southern Italy’s indigenous grape varieties and has a reputation for making some truly world class wines. Agronomist Pierpaolo Sirch and top Champagne producer Anselme Selosse collaborated in 2004 to form a double act combining Anselme’s Champagne winemaking skills with Pierpaolo’s deep understanding of the uniqueness of the Irpinia terroir. The culmination of this expertise was the launch of the DUBL range. This cuvée is made using the traditional Champagne method with second fermentation in the bottle. The wine spends 18 months on its lees adding texture and complexity.
100% Falanghina, this is a fresh and aromatic wine with crisp, golden delicious apple, peach and floral hints, complemented by rounder notes of apricot. Ideal as an aperitif or match to sushi or sashimi.
