Description
Made by Californian winemaker Paul Hobbs, who has a long history of making wines in Argentina. Vina Cobos was established in 1999, 20 years after Paul first starting experiments with wines in the region.
The wines are balanced and uniquely express their origins of the Lujan de Cuyo and Vallet de Uco. This Malbec spends 8 months in American oak, 10% of which is new. It has blackberries and cherries on the nose, the wine is medium bodied with juicy smooth tannins. A great accompaniment to any meal, but particularly with casseroles and red meat!
