Seriously Old Dirt, made from 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Malbec, 5% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc, is a wine of “structural classicism, mineral tension and harmony” (Greg Sherwood). Scoring 94 points at Decanter’s World Wine Awards 2021 and 92+ points from Greg Sherwood MW, it holds high the virtues of 2019 with a “super fresh and elegant, concentrated yet light” profile and an attractive palate of “vibrant notes of candied Parma violets, crème de cassis, sun raisined black cherries and hints of blueberry confit with an overlay of graphite and cedar spice” (GS).
