Description
The Vietti winery traces its roots back to the 19th century, but it was in the 20th Century that it became a winery and offered bottles of its own wines. The wines come from Castiglione Falletto vineyards, in the heart of the Barolo zone. The region has sandy/calcareous soil and this gives a unique elegant tannins.
100% Nebbiolo selected from small vineyards in the Barolo region. The vines are between 7 and 40 years old. The wine is aged for around 30 months in oak barriques, all parcels are then carefully blended before bottling.
Pair to hearty stews, wild game, roasted red meats and cheese.
