The Tenuta Di Tavignano is a family-owned estate in the heart of the Marche region in central Italy. The estate is farmed organically, though it is not certified as yet. The Tavignano Cervidoni Rosso Piceno is made from a blend of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese. The wine undergoes a 14 day fermentation on its skins, before time in slavonian oak barrels and a minimum of 6 months in bottle before release.
A vibrant fruit driven nose with aromas of cherries and plums. These notes continue on the palate, with a lovely warmth to it and hints of spice on the finish.
