A lovely Portuguese red from an organic Estate 600m up in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela. The wines are characterised by the freshness of the high altitude vineyards and the sandy granite soil. This red wine is made of Jaen (aka Mencia) and Touriga Nacional and these combine to provide a combination of blackberry and sloe flavours with subtle texture and freshness.
