Description
The Sierra de Gredos are the mountains west of Madrid. This region was all but forgotten and the wines that were being made were done in bulk. Telmo saw the potential, and could help himself and started making wine here. Arrebatacapas is a steep, south-facing 2.1ha slope at an elevation of 1050m -1200m, with garnacha vines planted in 1953, surrounded by juniper, rosemary, and lavender. Pegaso Arrebatacapas perfectly combines power and complexity with the freshness and balance of garnacha grown on red slate soils.
