Description
The Nostros Reserva Malbec is from a unique Malbec plantation in Bío Bío Valley, the southern most part of Chile (recognised as one of the areas with more rain and wind in Chile), the climate in this valley can be described as cool Mediterranean. Its closeness to the ocean tempers its climate and winters tend to be mild. The vineyards are planted on the flatter plains and on the gentle cly slopes. Generally, the soil is of relatively poor quality with low fertility, and therefore good for growing wine grapes.
Tasting Note
Deep and intense ruby colour, mature and aromatic. Well balanced levels of alcohol, acidity and bright fruit. Flavours of black cherries, strawberry, and raspberry and on the nose powerful, sweet notes. A lingering finish, flavourful with velvety, soft and ripe tannins.
