Description
The Niepoort Charme is a rare wine from Douro. An elegant and complex wine, it is a unique expression of the old sheltered vineyards from Vale Mendiz in the Pinhão Valley. Made from a blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and other grapes, the grapes are fermented with stalks in traditional stone largares with foot treading, before finishing fermentation in french oak barrels and ageing for 17 months. Bottling was completed with no fining and unfiltered in February 2013.
