Description
Bodegas Altolandon is one of Spain’s highest altitude wineries. The nose is complex and powerful with blackberry and blueberry, and a touch of rosemary, violets and floral notes. The finish has dark cherry, dark chocolate and black pepper. Lamb is a great match but would also be lovely with aromatic dishes.
‘Purple, plummy, candied boiled sweet, violet. Bouncy, vibrant, juicy fruit. Fresh acidity. Perfect wine by the glass/tapas wine.’ 90 Points tasted July 2021. Tim Atkin.
