The Kimera Garnatxa is the brain child of friends Luis Moya and Gonzalo Celayeta. Based on Garnacha from vineyards around the town of San Martín de Unx, in the Baja mountains of Navarra. The wine is matured for 12 months in old-fashioned 4000L amphoras. The thick walls of the amphoras enable a long and delicate ageing.
On the nose it has intense fruity aromas, supplemented with floral and garrigue notes. Red fruit continues on the palate, earthy undertones.
