Description

Fourcaud Laussac is made by a family-owned wine estate, Chateau Laplagnotte-Bellevue. The Chateau was bought by Claude Labarre (nee Fourcaud Laussac), in 1990 while she was still co-owner and manager of Château Cheval Blanc. The fruit for this wine comes from a 0.5 hectare vineyard planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged for 18 months in new oak barrels. Just 2000 bottles are made.

Tasting Note

A dense creamy dark -fruited St-Emilion. This wine is at the beginning of its drinking window.
