Finca Resalso is the name of a historic vineyard that was planted in 1932, the year Emilio Moro was born. This is the name given to the wine made from grapes from their younger vines. The wine macerates on skins for 12 days and then spends time in stainless steel, finally it is aged for 3 years in old French oak barrels.
Elegant and subtle, the low yields bring out the best in this variety. It is a powerful balance with exceptional elegance. The aromas of Tempranillo have been refined through the ageing process and it has notes of wood in the background and the personality of the variety and terroir.
This would make for a thoughtful gift for a Rioja/Spanish red wine lover and it is a versatile wine that would be enjoyed with many dishes.
