Description
Cambridge Road Vineyard is a small, 5.5-acre estate in the esteemed Martinborough Terrace Appellation in the North Island of New Zealand. It was first planted in Pinot Noir and Syrah grapes in 1986. The vines are amongst the oldest in the country.
On the nose it offers delicious black cherry, blackberries and plums and spice. The palate has delightful concentration but without losing elegance, with a core of black cherry fruit, with a spicy backbone. This wine is drinking now, but will keep for the next decade.
