Description
Buil & Giné, is run by Xavi Buil, who’s aim is to produce good value wines in a fresher more appealing style, with all of the spice, minerality and fruit that are to be expected from this region. Xavi plants on the classic soils of Priorat – slate, shale and liquorella. These are poor soils, restricting vigour and yield, are perfect for making powerful and characterful wines.
This wine is made from a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Carignan. It has intense dark fruit notes with a mineral backbone and a long finish.
