Description
Baglio Gibellina is situated in picturesque Sicily where vineyards are surrounded by the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. Selected old vineyards are located at 300-600 metres above sea leve. The Frappato grapes are harvested to retain freshness and the Nero d’Avola grapes are left on the vines for a light withering for natural dehydration to occur. They are late harvested with extreme care and placed in wooden cases.
Tasting Note
Bright and intense red fruit on the nose displaying lots of red berries. The palate is full and juicy with smooth tannins. Pair to pasta dishes or a fine cheese board!
