Description
Explore the variety of the diverse range of wines that Spain produces. Each case contains a bottle of the following wines:
Pazo Senorans Albarino, Rias Baixas – From Galicia in North West Spain where Albarino is the signature grape. Citrus and mineral driven but also with stone fruit and orange zest.
Martinez Lacuesta Rioja Blanco, Rioja – Rioja is known for its red wines but this white is absolutely delicious. The wine spends 3 months in acacia, French and American oak. The oak ageing is very balanced giving more texture to the wine. A great wine to have with paella.
Bardos Clea Verdejo, Rueda – White peach and cut grass. This grape is a Spanish white classic.
El Castro Valtuille Mencia Joven, Bierzo – Back to north/west Spain, Mencia is an indigenous grape variety. It is perfumed and full of cherry fruit, light-ish tannins and can be chilled.
Palacio Camino Rioja Crianza, Rioja – We had to include a red Rioja in this mixed case. A real classic, smooth, small amount of vanilla oak on the palate.
Bardos Clea Crianza, Ribera Del Duero – Intense dark cherry notes with liquorice and tobacco. It is silky and elegant but has great concentration and richness.
