Domaine Bassac Margalh Blanc, Languedoc
An intriguing blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache Blanc. Aromatic nose with citrus fruit, stone fruit, and some floral notes. Good texture, but with an underlying freshness.
Tour des Gendres Cuvée des Conti, Bergerac
A fruity, vibrant blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle. Partner it with some poached trout or salmon.
Domaine Duseigneur La Goutte du Seigneur Blanc, Rhone
A white blend of Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc and Viognier. It is aromatic and peachy with white flowers and notes of apricot. Really refreshing on the palate. Pair to seafood.
Chateau Guibeau 2015, Castillon – Cotes de Bordeaux
Made from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Wild berries and hints of vanilla on the nose with a
supple and velvety body. It has the richness and freshness typical of the best Castillon – Côtes de Bordeaux wines.
Domaine Duseigneur La Goutte du Seigneur Rouge, Rhone
A blend of Grenache and Syrah, 50/50. The wine doesn’t see any oak, so it is a pure expression of these Rhone grape varieties. Dark brambly fruit, smooth tannins and a touch of earthiness.
Chateau de La Selve ‘Petite Selve’, Ardeche
Described as a ‘vin de copain’ ( a wine to enjoy with friends), this is made in equal amounts young vine Cinsault and Grenache with a dash of Syrah. Juicy ripe plum fruit on the palate, with a touch of strawberry and red cherry.
