Description
Te Whare Ra was established in 1979, making it the oldest small independent winery in Marlborough. The original vines where grafted, thus when phylloxera came to the region their vines survived, making the vines the oldest in Marlborough. The vineyards are farmed organically and Te Whare Ra were fully certified in 2012.
Tasting Note
A fine bone dry riesling with delicious lime and lemon on the palate with a touch of honey on the finish. Balanced acidity with a long fine finish.
