Description
The Garage Wine Company is a small independent producer making numerous cuvees from small old vine vineyards scattered throughout the Maipo and Maule valley. This Cabernet Franc was mountaine grown high in the Maipo Valley. Fermented naturally, the cap was punched down by hand, and it was pressed manually. It was barrel-aged in neutral oak for two winters.
Tasting Note
Bright cassis is backed by an underlying earthiness. Drinking now, but would benefit from a year or two of careful cellaring.
