We were absolutely delighted to receive the news last week that for the second year running we have been voted as one of the top 50 Independent Wine Merchants in the UK!

To arrive at this list Harpers Wine and Spirit used a similar methodology to the one that has proved so successful on there company’s flagship World’s 50 Best Bars, which has gained thousands of column inches across the globe. The country was divided into 10 zones, including splitting London up, and chose five experts for each region. Each expert was asked to nominate three retailers from their region, plus two from outside the region, and rank them from one to five, with a weighting attached to each vote. It was then a case of using a mathematical formula to create the final list.
